Announcing the Under the Sea Giveaway Hop
September 14th to 20th

I love giving away books. There's something so magical and alluring about mermaids and mermen.

This blog hop is hosted by I Am A Reader Not A Writer & The Musings of ALMYBNENR.

I'll be giving away a hardback copy of a book below to be sent from The Book Depository.  Just enter in the Rafflecopter and the winner gets to choose!

Am I imagining that the guy on the Sea Change cover has a Robert Pattinson look about him?  :)

A lot of participants in this giveaway!

LOL. He does look a bit like Pattinson.

09/13/2012 9:33pm

That does look like Robert Pattison. I didn't realize there were so many sea themed books around.

Alex- Yes, there are a lot of blogs to hop. :)

The Golden Eagle and Shelley- So, I'm not crazy! I say he's a young PPatz.

It should not have taken this giveaway for me to "like" your books. A thousand apologies :)

Isis- You are both silly and considerate. :)

I was just commenting on another blog about how I had no idea that mermaid stories were becoming a thing! So behind. Good luck with the contest!

I'm not into "mermaids." But I wanted to comment that Amanda Hocking's "Wake" is my "go to" book that I show people when I say any cover art that I could do is "bad" because my drawing just isn't that great. I whip out "Wake" and show them what a professional with training can do. Then they nod and say, "Okay. I understand now." And it's also why I say, "I'm a bad artist" when I post pictures that I've drawn. They just aren't professional. I lack the training and equipment to take it to the next level.

I still say you are a wonderful artist, but I get your point. That cover is amazing.

09/14/2012 3:13pm

Didn't know there were so many mermaid books. Nice covers.

09/14/2012 3:18pm

A whole other world on our planet, neither space ship nor time capsule required. Nice.

Am I to understand that there's a whole subgenre of mermaid/merman fiction out there just waiting for me to fish out of the depths? That's awesome :)

And now you know. So, do you have any mermaid/Atlantis stories in you?

09/16/2012 12:15pm

Possibly. I can totally see Atlantis as a setting for some sort of aquatic urban fantasy tale featuring angst-ridden vampire mermen and the mermaids who love them :)

Great giveaway. Lots of people on this blog hop.

They all look interesting. It'd be hard to choose!

The guy totally does look like Robert Pattinson. Is he now moonlighting for book covers? ;)

09/16/2012 10:27am

What a great giveaway! I would take any or these, especially Sea Change. :)
