I read five of Nyrae Dawn's books in a row.

My May giveaway to one lucky commenter is a $10 Amazon or B & N gift card. I'll draw at the end of the month from all commenters on posts during May.

A couple of weeks ago, I embarked on a reading frenzy. I lost sleep, skipped meals, and obsessed over one author's books.  Okay, maybe I didn't actually skip meals, because I rarely do that. I did read while eating. All this occurred because of Nyrae Dawn.

Her books are like reader crack. I'd finish one book and think I could wait a while to buy the next. And then I'd begin planning the one I'd read. It couldn't hurt to purchase and download where I'd be ready. Right? What about reading just one page? One little page....

And so it began. It consumed my life for a week as I read a book a day.

I haven't read Freeing Carter by Nyrae Dawn and plan to wait for the audio book. I chatted with the author on Twitter and discovered all her books are coming out in audio next month.

Have you ever inhaled all the books from one author?

My experience with shifters began when I read the Twilight series (by Stephenie Meyer) in the YA genre and the Anita Blake series (by Laurell K. Hamilton) in the adult paranormal genre.  Those books were only the first in my new love for books featuring shifters.

The guests I have here today are authors in the Adult Paranormal genre with lots of experience in writing about shifters. I appreciate the opportunity to ask them questions. Welcome Jessica Aspen, Shelley Munro, and Milly Taiden to the shifter panel. After reading their answers to my questions, don't forget to enter my March giveaway. You could be the winner of a $10 gift card to Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Please note that I have not featured their adult books on my YA site. These authors write steamy...as in HOT-HOT-HOT.  If you are eighteen or older, please visit their websites to see their current and past releases. You'll also see lots of ways to follow them on social media in the biographies at the bottom of this post.

Do your shifters need anything special to change form? (ie. a full moon,  article of clothing etc.)

Jessica: -What a great question. My werewolves don’t need anything special to turn, but if they get angry and lose control they might lose it and shift. Can’t you just picture a werewolf losing it at the post office? I hate when you are waiting and they go to lunch, leaving only one person to help and the line is of course longer at lunch. What if someone got upset and shifted into a wolf? Clothes would shred, packages would fly. You can’t hold a box in your claws!

ShelleyI’m a frustrated cat owner in that hubby isn’t a fan, so I tend to write more cat shifters than wolves. 99% of my shifters (both wolf and cat) change at will and get themselves in trouble by shifting when members of the public can see them. The female characters often point out that the males of the species are the troublemakers. They’re mostly right about that.
Milly - My shifters just need to want to change. They can call upon their animals or if in danger the animal takes over.

Are the shifters you write about born that way or turned? Briefly explain the mythology.

Jessica: -The Radon werewolves are born that way and I don’t really address how they got there, but I do address that there are less and less of them being born.

ShelleyAll of my shifters are born bearing shifter genes. I like to think of them as another species rather than something caused by a disease. Exotic diseases make me squirm in my seat, and some days it’s hard enough staying in front of my laptop as it is. I don’t need an added incentive to procrastinate!
MillyMy wolves are born and made. They range from big strong men to tiny mouthy women. It makes for a fun combination.

The thing you'd like/hate the most if you were a shifter.

Jessica -I’d love to run free in the mountains, breath in the fresh air as I chased a rabbit into the woods. Not so sure how I’d feel about the fur in my mouth if I caught one. Can you be a vegan werewolf?

Shelley-  I wouldn’t enjoy hiding my true shifter identity from humans, and it would probably take me a while to get used to the nakedness thing. In one of my series, the hero’s trews always morph with him, but the rest of my shifters embrace their nakedness. The enhanced senses might be exciting. I know bumping heads with some of the shifter alpha males would make for an interesting night on the town.
Milly - I love the whole pairing a strong man with what he thinks is a weak woman only to have her boss him around.

The shifter you'd like to date and why? (from one of your books, a movie, tv show...)

Jessica -Oh, this one is a toughie, but I think I’d go with Alcide from Charlaine Harris’s True Blood series. My characters are all taken in my head, so I don’t think I can in good conscious steal them away from their true mates. Alcide, on the other hand, is always in and out of relationships, so maybe I’d be the one to make him stay!

Shelley- I’d like to date Ryman Coppersmith, the alien kitty hero in House of the Cat. He’s alpha and bossy, yet vulnerable and a little lost because he knows nothing about his past. Note to self - must hurry up with book two in the series so I get to spend more time with book boyfriend, Ry.
Milly -  I think i like wolves that are able to shift and control the shift vs. those that it controls them. I guess I'm a control freak! hah!

Meet Shelley Munro

Picture
Shelley lives in New Zealand with her husband.

Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak – big overseas experience). A year long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.

While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love – that of writing stories of romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby and rugby league (strictly for research purposes), and curling up with a good book.

Meet Milly Taiden

Picture
Milly (who also writes as April Angel) was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean known as the Dominican Republic. She grew up between New York, Florida and Massachusetts. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.

She began writing when she learned to put words together and her first book consisted of two homeless dogs living in a park for her second grade English class. She didn’t win a prize, but she acquired a love for writing that never went away.

When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop. She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!

A hidden evil stalks the city…

Ari Calin refuses to believe her human friend Eddie murdered a vampire—in spite of his confession. Her human partner Ryan thinks the case is a slam dunk, even though there’s no weapon and no witnesses, but Ari’s not about to let her friend take the rap without finding out more.

When Ari attends a charity event on the arm of a handsome werewolf, she finds someone she never expected to see again—Andreas De Luca, the charismatic vampire she used to date. When their eyes meet across the room, memories come rushing back. His kiss, his touch, a savage death…and a terrifying magical bond. A reconnection is the last thing she wants. Only by staying away and forgetting Andreas can she hope to avoid the Legend of Ramora.

But when vampires keep dying, one thing becomes clear: Riverdale has a serial killer on its hands, and Andreas could be next. Ari begins to fear there’s more to it, though. Something truly evil is stalking the city, waiting to take control…

Julie, tell me about Polar Night. What's it about and how did you come up with the idea?

First off, let me just say thank you for having me as a guest on your blog, Brinda. I really appreciate it!

Polar Night is about a police detective named Danny Fitzpatrick who lives in Fairbanks, Alaska. Danny makes a connection between a woman who has just gone missing and a cold case he has been working on concerning a woman who went missing a few years earlier. His investigation into the cases leads him to the Arctic town of Coldfoot and an old haunted asylum that is now a tourist attraction for visitors to the Arctic Circle. The story takes place in the dead of winter around the winter solstice, so the atmosphere is very cold, very dark, and very creepy. In the end, Danny discovers that things he thought were merely the stuff of horror movies and old legends are actually real, and this turns out to be a discovery that endangers his own life.

I got the idea for the story from a dream I had where I was on an ocean liner in the 1920s and met a man who told me about a woman he loved and lost in Russia during World War I. The final story doesn’t bear much resemblance to the original dream, but if you read it you will see the connection.

I see that you contribute articles to the Cincinnati Animal News Examiner. How long have you been doing that and what's the most interesting story you've written about for them?

I’ve been writing these articles since December, 2011, and I’ve focused primarily on spotlighting animal rescues around my area. I have two stories that tie as my favorite, and both involve dogs from Circle Tail, which is where I adopted my own dog Clancy. Circle Tail’s primary focus is to train and provide assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities, but they also run a small rescue program. The two dogs I wrote about were rescued by Circle Tail but weren’t cut out for the assistance dog program, so they were adopted out. Now one is working as a canine ambassador for a pet-friendly luxury hotel in Pittsburgh and the other works at a funeral home in Northern Kentucky. I thought it was awesome that these two dogs found their place in the world after being lost and abandoned. If you’d like to read about them, you can find Edie the canine concierge here (http://www.examiner.com/article/local-dog-makes-good-pittsburgh) and Jackson the funeral home dog here. What are the most important things a new writer should keep in mind before being published?

I think one really important thing to remember is to be patient. In my experience, the process of publication is definitely a waiting game. You sent out queries and then wait, get a request for a full or partial ms and then wait, and, once you’ve signed a contract, you wait again for the book to actually be published. So you really have no choice but to wait and then wait some more and it’s important to be patient and not drive yourself crazy waiting. I also think the most important thing for any writer to remember is to not give up! I think there are many amazing opportunities available for writers now, with several different paths to publication, so I think it’s important to do your research and figure out which path is right for you, then go for it and don’t give up until you’ve realized your goals and your writing is out there for the world to read.

Picture
Show us where you write!

My favorite place to write is on my couch. I love to stretch out with my laptop and write away. My dog Clancy and my cat Nate are my writing companions and, as you can see from the photos, I often find myself fighting them for space. But ultimately we work it out when I remind them who buys their food. :D

Thanks so much, Julie, for stopping by to visit with us today.

How far would you go to find a child that never existed?

Elizabeth Walker awakens in a mental institution, the aftermath of a nightmare in her veins. All she can think of is saving a little boy—her son. But the orderlies who rush in and jab her with needles assure her she has no son. So does her mother, who demands her doctors keep her calm and prevent her from these troubling delusions. But Elizabeth’s nightmares are so real, and her arms still feel the memory of holding her son. And her instincts tell her to trust no one. Her child is gone. Her memories are gone. Everything is just…gone.

Ex-military medic David Kerrigan will never stop blaming himself for the childhood tragedy that took his younger sister’s life. As a doctor on staff at the hospital, he’s drawn to Elizabeth, and he’s not sure that everything about her case is on the up and up. David knows full well he can’t change the past, but what if he can save this one person? And maybe helping Elizabeth might just save them both…

Don't forget about the March Giveaway at the bottom of the post. You must enter through the Rafflecopter. I change options throughout the month, so there are always new ways to enter.  Enter now by getting connected with Barb Han, author of Gone, or by getting connected with me. Hi Barb. Thanks for visiting with me about your new release, Gone. The character David Kerrigan from Gone seems like a hero to me. Who do you consider a real-life hero or heroine?

There are so many real-life heroes and heroines. I’d say men and women who serve in the military are right up there in my book. First responders, firefighters, police, nurses top the list too. Anyone who puts their life on the line for someone else or is there at the precise moment we need them, trying to save our lives rates as heroic to me.

Elizabeth Walker wakes up in a mental institution. That's pretty scary stuff. What's the scariest event you've experienced?

Thank heaven I haven’t experienced anything as scary as waking in a mental institution. The story came to me in a nightmare and I was her. Living the experience through her eyes was enough to keep me awake for days. I checked on my kids during the night, and actually watched over them while they slept for weeks after.

Can you tell us an insider tip from the book? Maybe a scene you cut or something that didn't make it to the page?

There’s a scene I wish I could share, but it would give away the ending. Let’s just say I rewrote the ending half a dozen times before it felt right.

Complete this phrase: If you like emotionally-intense stories with a HEA, you'll be crazy about Gone.

I see all these sports photos on your blog--skiing and rock climbing. So, take me somewhere for an outdoor activity. When and where would we go for fun?

I like this question. I’d most likely take you to Boulder, Colorado. We’d rent bikes (it’s so bike friendly there, I love it) and ride to Pearl Street Mall where we’d eat before our hike. There’s a cart called Fast Eddie's World Famous Chicago Hot Dogs that I love. It’s near the visitor’s center. After we fill our tummies and enjoy a little street entertainment (maybe even have our fortunes told), we’d head to Chautauqua grounds (the mountain base), park our bikes, and hike the Flatirons. The crazy part is you can experience four seasons of weather on the same hike. We’d call it a day by biking back down to Pearl Street Mall where we’d start off with a bowl of buffalo soup at Boulder Cafe. Good food. Good company. Now that’s a good day!

Neumarian Uprising,

We need your help! Thanks to our spy, Ciara Knight, we are able to communicate with you today via blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

The Neumarian uprising has begun. We are fighting for freedom and equality for all, but we need your help. Ciara informed us that you might want to know more about the uprising and why we ask you to risk your lives for our cause. To answer these questions I’ve agreed to let Ciara tell my sister’s, Raeth’s, story about her captivity. It will be free for you on a site called Amazon until March 1, 2013.

Our spies have told us this will help spread the word and find more recruits for our rebellion against the tyrannical queen. You can help by simply downloading a free copy of Weighted,  a prequel to the Neumarian Chronicles. If you are intrigued and wish to follow our uprising, Escapement, book I of The Neumarian Chronicles, will be available for only $2.99 until March 1, 2013.

Escapement is told by Princess Semara. Don’t hold the fact Semara is a princess against her like I did, there is more to her than you can possibly imagine.

Here is a brief explanation of her telling of our uprising:

Ten years after the great war of 2185 the queen’s reign is threatened by uprisings and fear. In celebration of my sixteenth birthday it is my duty as princess to sacrifice a slave to be initiated into the ruling council, solidifying my mother’s empire. When my own erratic powers surface I’m captured and tried for treason. Slaves hate me, my mother wants me executed, and my only chance of survival rests in the hands of a young man, Ryder Arteres, whose sister I sentenced to death.

If you are now ready to join our fight, please add Escapement to your TBR shelf on Goodreads here. Shout out on all your social media sites, and tell everyone you know to stand up and fight.

Be Bold.

Be Brave.

Be Free.

In the name of the rebellion,
Ryder Arteres

Escapement can be found at Amazon.

“A riveting tale of justice, mercy, honor and love. Take a deep breath and hold on, because you'll be turning the pages of Escapement quickly. Three unlikely comrades, Princess Semara, Ryder, and his sister Raeth, embark on a journey that will alter their lives forever. The beautiful love story nestled into these action-packed scenes will make you sigh and remember why you love to love. I've been absent at some of the blogs I normally visit. It's been a busy week and it won't be slowing down anytime soon. I'm taking an online class from Margie Lawson, getting some editing and revising finished on a current manuscript, and preparing for a trip next week to Colorado. I'll be attending Margie Lawson's Immersion Master Class (IMC). IMC is one I've heard so much about in the past couple of years. In Colorado, I'll be staying with six other authors and delving into a marathon of learning and editing at the top of a mountain. I'll leave on Thursday morning and will be there for five days. I'm getting really excited about it.

Don't forget about the February Giveaway at the bottom of the post. You must enter through the Rafflecopter. I change options throughout the month, so there are always new ways to enter. The options in the Rafflecopter changed on 2/21/13.  Now you can enter by getting connected with Alex Cavanaugh, Ciara Knight, and JAYdancefitness.

Additionally, I have contacted winners for the Random Acts of Kindness Giveaway Hop that ended on 2/21/13.  The winners are  Entry #104 PC for Prize Package #1 and Entry #59 Nurmawati D. for Prize Package #2.

Today we have three wonderful romance authors that I'd like to introduce. Check out their answers to my questions about romance.

Three Beautiful Romance Authors:

Most romantic pick-up line you've ever heard

Kinley: All my favorite pick-up lines are so inappropriate… Lol. I’ve always liked: “Baby, did it hurt?”… “When you fell from Heaven.” That’s probably not romantic to most people, but I’m strange.

Patty: Legendary Broadway actress, Helen Hayes, was invited by an actor friend to a high-society gathering where her demure disposition didn’t fit in well with the boisterous crowd. While she sat in the corner thinking of a good excuse for leaving, a handsome, green-eyed gentleman came over and offered her some peanuts. As he put them in her hand he said, “I wish they were emeralds.” He was her future husband, Chicago journalist and playwright, Charles MacArthur.

Sharon: Oh man, I need to get out more. One time, stopped at a red light, feeling lousy, a guy in the car next to me called over. I didn’t want to look. Finally did. He said, “you look beautiful.” Simple, yet lifted my dark cloud.

Best Place for a First Date

Kinley: It’s been so long since I’ve been on a first date. A bookstore? Oh gosh, I hope I don’t have to date again soon.

Patty: A picnic basket and a concert under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl.
Sharon: A hike along the Niagara Escarpment.

Food That Represents Love to You

Kinley: Anything home cooked. There’s a lot of love that goes into a homemade dish.

Patty:A bottle of Nouveau Beaujolais wine, a warm baguette, and a wheel of camembert cheese.

Sharon: Chocolate.

Most Romantic Book You've Ever Read

Kinley: There are so many! Any romance ever… Seriously. I heart the genre so much. There are so many different ways to be romantic.
Patty:Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.  Because I fell into everlasting love with her hero, Jamie Fraser.

Sharon:  Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabladon.

Most Romantic Song in History

Kinley: Photography by The Starting Line. My wedding song.

Patty:Wow – in history? I can only answer the question this way: What’s the most romantic song in my history. It would have to be True Love. It’s an old Cole Porter song from a 1950’s movie.  My late husband and I loved to sing it together.

Sharon:  Joe Cocker’s You Are So Beautiful

If you had to choose between a wonderful romantic relationship that would end after only a year, or a so-so relationship that would last your entire life, which one would you choose and why?

Kinley: I think so-so can be pretty special over a lifetime. It might not be romantic in dreamy terms, but there’s a lot to be said for choosing to spend your time with someone forever.

Patty: I would choose to work on that so-so relationship to create the wonderful romantic one that would last an entire lifetime.

Sharon: The wonderful year-long relationship because the memories would last a life-time.

Kinley Baker

Kinley Baker has a terminally tender heart and an inconvenient sense of humor. She loves puppies and cries at celebrity weddings. Kinley believes that romance novels are the keys to world peace, because if you're holding a book, you can't be holding a gun. Kinley supports all supernatural lifestyles and believes "happy ever after" isn't only for the normal. Her books Ruined, Denied and Freed are available now from Crescent Moon Press. Excuse My Fairy is available now from Etopia Press. Look for more in the Misbehaving Magics series and the final book in the Shadowed Love trilogy in 2013.

Excuse My Fairy

Her magic breaks all the rules. He breaks all of hers.

Draybeth is broken. Her fairy powers don’t work, her magic is completely dysfunctional, and not even her bad attitude and soft heart can win her back into Fairy favor. Exiled from their land, she struggles to make a life for herself in the human world. But when her bar burns to the ground and she meets one of the Impassables--the devastating Lawman Barrett--things become even more of a struggle. An arrest, murder, and abduction challenge everything she’s worked for, and worse, the Impassable Lawman appears to be her destined mate. But darkness stirs deep within Dray’s heart, and she’s not about to drag the gorgeous lawman down with her.

Barrett never expected to find himself mated to a fairy, let alone one with such a wicked temper and a short fuse. Being an Impassable, he should be immune to fairy magic, but Dray’s magic burns through him like lightning, just as everything else about her ignites him, body and soul. The fairy’s power over Impassables threatens everything this new realm was built upon, and as a Lawman, Barrett’s job is to make sure those threats are eliminated. But his feelings for Dray make him question just where his duty lies.

Patty Campbell

In the past ten years , Patty Campbell has written five contemporary romance novels--Jelly's Big Night Out is the first to be published. She has high hopes for the other four, and she's writing the next one...in her head.
Picture
Passion, fashion, and secrets...

After life took a tragic turn, Jelly Swanson had no time for men. Providing a safe, nurturing home for her little sister and running a successful boutique left her too busy for much else, and forced the idea of a love life to the back burner. But when she goes to school for a teacher's conference, her sister Emi's science teacher takes Jelly completely by surprise. And getting pregnant with his baby? That's not at all part of the plan.

The last thing Henry Palasczewski is looking for is romance. With a broken engagement behind him, he's interested only in the job he loves and the students who adore him. Then Jelly walks into his classroom, and he's dazzled by her sexy, flamboyant manner. She's way out of his league—he's a science nerd, not a movie star—but the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Rhapsody

Isabelle plans to escape the real world when she takes a tropical vacation to work on her relationship recovery program. But escape becomes too real when she realizes Paradise Resort has disappeared. She is trapped in an immortal world where she must win her freedom by seducing her opponent, a man she labeled off limits, in a board game of seduction. Her resistance is solid, safe, and steadfast until her traitorous body decides this is a game she wants to play.

Jonathan has made seducing women an art form. His needs are simple: break down Isabelle’s resistance, seduce the panties off her, and get back to the real world fast where an emergency needs his attention. He plays to win, but when Isabelle takes a penalty and they must play out her secret fantasy, Jonathan struggles to follow the objective and keep his own arousal under control. Desire grows between them as each roll of the die reveals secrets, truths, and a greater expanse of skin, until the mastermind behind the game forces Jonathan to confront his worse fear or lose Isabelle forever.

Three Beautiful Romance Authors:

Most romantic pick-up line you've ever heard

Elizabeth: The line from Jerry MacGuire…"You had me at hello." My husband offered, “I better get a library card because I’m checking you out.” Twenty years of marriage has made him rusty.
Rhonda: Where have you been all my life...
Dani-Lyn:  Well, it’s not very romantic but my favorite pick up line is from Disney’s Tangled: “Wow, somebody get me a glass… ‘cause I found me a tall drink of water.”

Best Place for a First Date

Elizabeth: A movie. It’s safe and you have something to talk about. (And if the date blows, you don’t have to talk at all and you have time to develop a head ache so you can go home early!)
Rhonda: Observatory on a clear, star filled evening
Dani-Lyn: Ice skating at Rockefeller Center

Food That Represents Love to You

Elizabeth: A Snickers bar (my husband would leave one for me when he left for college) or Whitman’s candies (my dad would always get me a box for Valentine’s Day)
Rhonda: Chocolate Pudding
Dani-Lyn: Chocolate!!

Most Romantic Book You've Ever Read

Elizabeth: Any of the Bronwyn Williams (AKA Dixie Browning) books.  Historicals set on the Outer Banks…what's not to love?
Rhonda: The Magnate’s Indecent Proposal by Ally Blake
Dani-Lyn: Gone With the Wind

Most Romantic Song in History

Elizabeth: Aerosmith’s “Angel”
Rhonda: Slave to Love by Bryan Ferry
Dani-Lyn: Endless Love

If you had to choose between a wonderful romantic relationship that would end after only a year, or a so-so relationship that would last your entire life, which one would you choose and why?

Elizabeth: One year. You know the saying, “It’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.” Besides, in the end, it’s eternal. Death is but a pause.
Rhonda: I would pick the so-so lifetime relationship.  You have all the time in the world to turn it into a wonderful, romantic relationship, which usually takes a lifetime to build.
Dani-Lyn: Forever is a long time to stay in a so-so relationship. I’d have to take the thrill of falling in love and staying in a wonderful romantic relationship for a year.

Elizabeth Seckman

Elizabeth divides her time between her beach cottage and her scrupulously clean house in the hills of West Virginia. Ooops. That's fantasy Elizabeth. The real Elizabeth spends her days schlepping after her four boys (five if you count their father) and the assortment of pets they swore they'd take care of. She does live in West Virginia; the house is clean when the mother-in-law visits; and she does have serious dreams of living at the beach. Elizabeth is a Marshall University graduate with a degree in counseling. This has proven very beneficial when dealing with the make-believe friends she hangs out with all day (she calls this 'writing'). Follow her blog at: http://www.eseckman.blogspot.com

Ditched at the altar…biopsied for cancer…Mollie Hinkle is having a bona fide bitch of a summer. When life sucks so hard it takes your breath away, what's a girl to do?

Road trip! Pack a bag, grab a few friends, and leave the past and the worry in the rear view mirror. What wounds can’t be healed by a drive across the Heartland, where quarter flips at cross roads determine the route and the future?

All roads lead to Craig, the second son and bad boy of the haughty Coulter line. Craig has spent his life taking care of number one—himself. He’s not interested in a relationship and he’s definitely not looking to fall in love. But if a morsel drops in his lap, who is he to refrain?

Mollie’s not looking for love either, but truth be told, she’s not opposed to it. Heck, if fate brought her to the miniscule Montana town to find happily ever after, she won’t fight it.Perhaps it is a summer where love, not time, heals all her wounds.

This quarterback is making the greatest play of his life…

Quiet bookstore owner Morgan Reed can’t wait to lie on the beach on her much-needed tropical vacation, but getting tackled by a tall, green-eyed stranger playing touch football isn’t exactly what she had in mind. Neither is falling for said stranger, or going along with the eccentric islander who sends them off with a mock wedding. But all’s fair when it comes to vacation romance, and Morgan has plenty of time to get back to reality when she gets home.

When he slams into the beautiful Morgan on the beach and sends her to the infirmary, superstar quarterback Seth Blake insists on helping her recover—if she agrees to share his bungalow with him. Seth is nothing less than smitten, and the best part is that the beauty has no idea who he is.

But when he finds out that their little “wedding” was the real thing, Seth finds himself in a sticky situation. Especially when Morgan finds out the man she fell for isn’t at all who he made himself out to be…
